Contractor UK, a leading industry news site, has revealed the results of its annual readers’ survey, including the best contractor accountant award.
SJD Accountancy, which has been operating for over 20 years and has more than 12,000 limited company clients, has won the award for the sixth year running.
The firm has also been recently listed as the 34th largest accountancy firm in the UK by Accountancy Age.
The annual survey asks readers to vote for contractor service providers across a number of categories, including best job board and umbrella company, as well as the accountancy award.
Other winners
The best contractor job board award went to Jobserve, which has remained the leading source for contract vacancies for over 15 years. Technojobs and CWJobs were also highly regarded by the site’s readers.
The top three umbrella companies, as voted for by Contractor UK readers, were Paystream, Contractor Umbrella and Simplify.
The top three clients to work for included Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC and Amex.
The runners up to SJD in the prestigious accounting category were Paystream and Nixon Williams.
